Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Emerald Vortex Games LLC (“Emerald Vortex Games,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you play our games, including Cars & Nukes, Medieval Blood and Egyptian Gladiator (together, the “Games”), and when you visit emeraldvortexgames.com (the “Website”). The Games and the Website are together called the “Services.”
Our Games may be distributed through third-party platforms such as Steam, the Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store / Xbox, Google Play and Meta Quest (each a “Platform”). Each Platform has its own privacy policy that governs the information it collects from you, including your payment details. We encourage you to read those policies too.
1. Information we collect
What we collect depends on which Game you play, which Platform you play it on, and which features you use. We collect only what we need to run and improve the Services.
Information you or your Platform provide
- Platform account information. When you sign in through a Platform (for example Steam, Epic, Xbox or Google Play Games), we may receive your Platform user ID, display name, avatar, friends list (for multiplayer invites) and region. We do not receive your Platform password.
- Game account information. If a Game lets you create an Emerald Vortex account, we collect the username and email address you provide.
- Communications. When you email us, sign up for playtests or contact support, we collect your email address and the contents of your message.
- In-game communications. If a Game offers text or voice chat, messages and voice may be transmitted through our servers or a third-party service so other players can receive them. We may review reported content to enforce our rules.
Information collected automatically
- Gameplay data. Progress, match results, scores, unlocks, in-game currency balances (such as gems in Medieval Blood), loot and settings.
- Multiplayer and network data. IP address, connection quality and session information needed to match players and run online matches (for example, Cars & Nukes’ 16-player online sessions).
- Device and technical data. Device type, operating system, hardware specifications, game version, language, crash reports and performance logs.
- Virtual reality data (Egyptian Gladiator). VR games use your headset and controller position, orientation and movement, and play-area boundaries, to work. This motion data is processed in real time to run the Game. We do not use it to identify you, we do not sell it, and we do not keep it beyond what is needed for gameplay, except in limited aggregated or de-identified form to fix bugs and improve comfort and performance.
Purchase information
Purchases of our Games and any in-game items are processed by the Platform you buy from. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. The Platform may share limited transaction information with us, such as a purchase ID, the item bought, the date and the region, so that we can deliver your purchase and provide support.
Information we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect precise geolocation, government ID numbers, biometric identifiers or contact lists from your device, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps and websites for advertising.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Games, including saving progress, matchmaking, online multiplayer, leaderboards and delivering purchases.
- To keep the Services fair and safe, including detecting cheating, fraud, abuse and violations of our Terms of Service.
- To diagnose crashes, fix bugs and improve performance, balance and features.
- To answer your questions and provide customer support.
- To send you updates or playtest invitations if you ask for them. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the Games), our legitimate interests (security, anti-cheat, improving the Games), your consent (where we ask for it, such as optional marketing emails) and compliance with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Platforms. With the Platform you play on, to enable features such as achievements, friends, cloud saves and purchases.
- Service providers. With companies that help us operate the Services, such as game server and hosting providers, multiplayer networking services, crash-reporting tools, content delivery and security providers (for example Cloudflare) and email providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Other players. Your display name, avatar, scores, match activity and in-game messages may be visible to other players.
- Legal and safety. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, or is needed to protect the rights, property or safety of our players, the public or Emerald Vortex Games.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
4. Cookies & the Website
The Website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not show ads. When you visit:
- Our web server records standard log information (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and troubleshooting.
- The Website is delivered through Cloudflare, which may set strictly necessary security cookies (such as bot-protection cookies) and process your IP address to protect the Website from attacks. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
- The Website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google and shares your IP address with it. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Data retention

6. Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- Correct information that is inaccurate;
- Delete your personal information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent you gave;
- Receive your data in a portable format;

These rights include those available under U.S. state privacy laws (such as California’s CCPA/CPRA), the EU and UK GDPR, and similar laws. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will verify your request, usually by confirming the email address or Platform account linked to your data, and respond within the time the law requires (generally 30–45 days). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also use an authorized agent, and if we decline your request you may appeal by replying to our response. In the EEA or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
You can also manage some settings yourself: in-game settings (such as chat and voice), your Platform’s privacy settings, and the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
7. Account & data deletion
You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time. See our Account & Data Deletion page for step-by-step instructions, what is deleted and what we must keep.
8. Children’s privacy
Our Games and the Website are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and some of our Games contain fantasy violence suitable only for older players, as shown by their age ratings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, such as encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International players
Emerald Vortex Games LLC is based in the United States. If you play from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, for these transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and if the changes are significant we will provide additional notice, such as in-game or on the Website.
